Cypress Gardens Florida souvenir plate - 1970s vintage road trip souvenir

Colorful floral image of Cypress Gardens Florida decorates this 1970s vintage souvenir plate. Opened as a botanic garden in 1936, it was also known as the Water Skiing Capital of the World water skiing shows were added during WWII. Through two ownership changes, becoming first SeaWorld park in the 1980s and now Legoland Florida, the botanical garden lives on. 

Gray/white plate with gold-trimmed, pierced rim. Holes and cord in back rim for hanging. Made in Korea.

CONDITION. Gently used as display and well cared for. Very minor gold loss on rim. Minor paint loss.
