From the inside back cover - "In 1949 the Don Orione priests and sisters came to Boston with the knowledge that there existed a need to provide nursing and health care for sick and elderly people. In that year the Home first opened with a modest start of eight beds. . . . Pioneering programs at the Home today include the Adult Day Care Center for sick and elderly people. This program makes it possible for people to live comfortably at home and receive proper daily are at the Center.
This religious order, founded by Don Luigi Orione in Italy, now has 300 missions all over the world.
