Ehlers spice and extract bottles - vintage 1970s grocery packaging

Regular price $15.00

Vintage Ehlers dill weed bottle, anise extract bottle and imitation maple flavor bottle. From Brooke Bond Foods Inc. of Lake Success, NY. The original Ehlers was a Brooklyn, NY spice company, it appears that Brooke Bond Foods purchased the trademark in the 1970s. This bottle probably dates from the 1970s or the 1980s.

Best thing about the extract and flavor bottles is that the cap is sized to be a 1/2 tsp measure. Genius. Why this isn't standard for extracts, really one can't imagine.

SIZE Dill bottle is 4.75" tall

CONDITION Very good. About what you would expect for spices and extracts that lived in a kitchen cabinet for a few decades.

This is a vintage item. It has been used and loved and it has a history. Please examine photos carefully and ask questions, as we are unable to accept returns or exchanges.
