Mid century Danish opera actor caricatures - set of 4 - 1940s vintage
Interesting set of four mid-century pen-and-ink caricatures portraying Danish opera performers. Likely created for sketchbooks or editorial use, these drawings are dated stylistically to the 1940s–early 1950s (one subject, Else Colber, died in 1954). Each sheet is signed by a different illustrator; we were unable to fully decipher the signatures from our photos.
