Antique wooden box that originally held a 5 lb. block of Diamond Brand Whipped Butter, put up by National Creamery Co. of Somerville and Boston MA. Well aged box is sturdy with finger joint corners.

About the National Creamery Co. It was founded in the early 1930s and flourished for 20 years until it was purchased by the company that became Kraft Foods. The comptroller of the National Creamery Co. was William Bloomberg, father of Michael Bloomberg.

CONDITION Antique old. Aging and fading on the graphics. No fake patina, this is the real deal.
