Live out your "The Sound of Music" fantasy in this red Trachten style cape. Velvet collar trimmed with jacquard heart ribbon. Four front buttons, metal, but not pewter. Buttons inside to make "sleeves."

This cape would make a smashing cape for fall and spring days or an outstandingly festive over layer on cold days.

The red is not quite as bright as it looks in the photos, but it would still be useful for hikes in the woods where people hunt.

Because the buttons are metal but not pewter, we think this is a souvenir level of cape. It's still warm and cozy. Still looks fire. No tags.

Shoulder to hem 35"

CONDITION Good. There are a few stray threads and minor pilling, some minor oxidation on the edges of a couple buttons and one black fuzzy about 1/4" long on the center back near the shoulders that got added to the fabric when it was made.

*This XL girlie was able to get into it, but it would fit better on humans from S-L. Despite it being a little snug, it did prompt me to perform The Lonely Goatherd. I regret nothing.
