Vintage life study of an older firefighter, in a bold impressionist style. The reds are rich and vibrant throughout, the blues are modern. Framed in unfinished wood. Painted in oil and/or acrylic on thick pressed board. This is a student work by artist Joyce Temple Peavey from the 1940s.

CONDITION Very good. At the top of the painting, across the hat there is a 4" scratch. The unfinished wood frame has some nicks and definitely some natural wood aging.
This is a vintage item. It has been used and loved and it has a history. Every attempt is made to describe it accurately, please examine photos carefully.
