Wooden made-do box from the 1920s - handmade from a cheese box

Vintage wooden box, a made-do box made from pieces of plywood and parts of a Kraft cheese box. Imprinted box sides are used to face inside. Small hinges. Varnish finish. Handwritten on the bottom: "Made January 29, 1929."

For the curious, the box was made on a Tuesday. The same day "All Quiet on the Western Front" was published and the Seeing Eye guide dog school was established in Nashville, TN.

CONDITION A bit shabby and worn on the top that was not varnished.
