Oval wirework basket with handle - fruit, garden, egg - dark cottagecore vintage

A tisket a tasket, this vintage wirework basket is oval with 8 feet, lots of scrollwork and a sturdy metal handle. It has Victorian and French vibes, but we think, based on construction, it's not an antique. Vintage for sure though.
Use on the table for fruit, in the fridge for eggs, or in the garden for tools or harvesting. Carry utensils or napkins to the picnic table. We also think you could make a sweet silk flower centerpiece, or line it for use with fresh flowers or as a planter. This cutie has shabby charm to spare.

- Base is a 6" x 5" oval, tapering to a 8" x 7" oval at the rim
- 4" high to rim
- handle extends 3" above rim
CONDITION Rustic and magical. Sturdy, and stands solidly on its feet, but has a bit of wonky bending here and there, as you would expect with vintage wire. There's rust in places and patina overall.
