Beau Sterling Silver Crown Brooch Orb and Cross Design 1940s–50s Vintage
A beautifully crafted piece of 1940s-1950s American sterling silver jewelry from one of Providence, Rhode Island's most respected makers — and a must-have for crown brooch collectors.
This solid sterling crown brooch is signed Beau Sterling on the reverse, the mark of Beaucraft Inc., a Providence maker prized by vintage jewelry collectors for quality construction and timeless design.
The crown is rendered .925 silver in three-dimensional relief, modeled closely on the classic orb-and-cross imperial crown — a domed body with a beaded band, sweeping arched supports, and a cross-topped orb at the apex.
Every detail is crisp and intentional. The silver has developed a natural patina that settles into the recessed areas and brings the sculptural design to life.
