American Inventors bicentennial souvenir plate - 1970s vintage

Ten great American innovators are featured on the Fine American Ironstone plate by Enco National to commemorate 200 Years of Progress at the Bicentennial. Center image is of the Apollo 11 crew landing on the moon. Innovators depicted along the rim are Thomas Edison, Henry Ford, Jonas Salk, Clara Barton, Alexander G. Bell, Albert Einstein, Wilbur & Orville Wright, George Washington Carver, Samuel Clemens, and Robert Fulton, each accompanied by a symbol of their greatness. Brown transfer ware.
