Vintage Korean chess set that opens flat to play and has built in compartments for the stone chess pieces. Box/board is inlaid wood with inlaid mother of pearl shell flower in the corners. Inside has two hinged covers that open to reveal with velvet lined slots for all the pieces. Chess pieces are carved stone.
SIZE board measures 16" x 16" when open. Pieces are around 3.75" give or take
CONDITION Does not appear to have ever been used. Chess pieces are still wrapped in tissue.
