Vintage 1950s pair of Lily of the Valley pattern dinner plates by the Primrose China Co. Cream plates with dark green basketweave around the rim and a center lily of the valley motif.
Primrose China made dinnerware pieces that were used as grocery store premiums, giving families a chance to collect their set one piece at a time. These plates are in the "Hiawatha" shape, which is similar to something that might be used in a restaurant. It's a thicker piece made to be durable.
Primrose China was union made at their factory in Sebring, OH.
These plates would be an excellent addition to a mismatched supermarket china collection. Life is too short to pick one pattern.
SIZE 10" diameter
CONDITION Very good condition. No chips, cracks or crazing. Some bubbles in the overcoat glaze and a few minor utensil marks.
These are vintage plates from the 1950s. Be sure and check over the photos and ask questions. We want you to love your lily of the valley plates.
