New Jersey Turnpike souvenir glass - 1950s vintage souvenir
Large 1950s vintage souvenir glass from the New Jersey Turnpike, 118 Miles of Effortless Driving. Depicting a highway map in blue with the turnpike and its exits in yellow.
The PA Turnpike and NJ Turnpike connector is shown in dotted lines and marked "Not open," which means this glass dates from between 1952, when the entire NJ Turnpike was complete, and 1956 when the connector opened.
SIZE 6.5" tall, 3.25" rim, 3" base, comfortably holds 22 oz, although if you're using it on the turnpike, you may want to put less in since it doesn't have a cover.
CONDITION Very good. No nicks, chips or cracks. A couple scratches near the rim.
