Road Legends 1958 Edsel Citation 1:18 Scale Diecast Model Car Black No Box

Collectible 1:18 scale model of a 1958 Edsel Citation in black with a red and white interior, introduced by Road Legends in 1999. Diecast metal body with plastic interior, engine detail, side mirror, and hood ornament. Nicely detailed scale model; open the hood to look at the engine, open the trunk to find the spare tire, flip it over to see the dual exhaust. Both doors open and the wheels rotate. No box included. Road Legends model no. 92298/9.

The actual Edsel Citation itself was released in the fall of 1957 for the 1958 model year. It had top-of-the-line trim and was positioned as a luxury car. The entire Edsel line was not well received by the public or the critics. Only 2,999 Citations were ever produced for the one model year it was made.

SIZE Approximately 12" long x 4.5" wide x 3.25" tall

CONDITION Very good pre-owned condition. Small surface scratches on the roof and passenger door. Minor wear to the finish on the hood and trunk from previous display.
