Vintage Saint Anthony of Padua Statue - Made in Milan, Italy

Finely detailed mid-century Italian devotional statue of Saint Anthony of Padua holding the infant Jesus, mounted on a stepped wooden base. An iconic piece of Catholic religious art, ideal for a home altar, prayer corner, or as a meaningful gift.

Saint Anthony is shown in his Franciscan habit with rope belt and rosary, cradling the Christ Child atop an open book. The metal figure has a warm bronze-gold finish with deep red lowlights.

"MADE IN ITALY" stamped vertically on the robe. "RIPR ME INTER TM B.G. MILANO" on the octagonal metal collar above the base indicates production by a Milan-based Italian religious goods manufacturer. The "RIPR ME INTER" marking might means Riproduzione Interdetta (reproduction prohibited). We can only guess, Italian copyright law is not one of our skills.
