Vintage 1950s South Dakota souvenir state plate. Top image of Mt. Rushmore, with Wall Drug across the bottom, with the Wall Drug Dinosaur, a So. Dakota Jackalope and the Badlands National Monument below.
White plate with spikey edge and reticulations, brushed with opalescent blue, gold and silver. Holes in the back rim for a hanging string. Made in Japan, the incised mark indicates it's a "ribbon plate" meaning it has the openings you can run a decorative ribbon through.
SIZE 8" diameter
CONDITION Very good. No chips or cracks. There is a printing flaw on the U in South.
