This lot of vintage programs are from 3 fabulous 1950s Broadway productions of 

  • Guys and Dolls at the Forty-Sixth Street Theatre, starring Robert Alda and Vivian Blaine. Playbill is from the week of April 14, 1952.
  • Anniversary Waltz at the Booth Theatre, starring MacDonald Carey. Playbill is from the week of March 7, 1955.
  • The King and I at the St James Theatre, starring Yul Brynner and Patricia Morison. Playbill is from the week of Feb 22, 1954. Program has the handwritten date of Feb 26, 1954 on inside cover, and features Constance Carpenter rather than Ms Morison.

The playbills are time capsules of 1950s culture. They have fantastic ads for cars, lingerie, jewelry and fashion houses as well as restaurants of New York's past.

CONDITION Program is very good, with date written in inside cover. Playbills were taped into a scrapbook and have tape residue, minor bends and minor tears.
