Vintage 1960s Keyes Imperial Crown Rhinestone Brooch Pin Canadian Costume Jewelry
Some brooches are jewelry. Some are tiny pieces of history.
This crown brooch by Keyes - a Montreal-based costume jewelry house that operated from 1962 to 1999 - is both. The imperial crown silhouette is set with pavé clear crystals throughout, with sapphire blue baguettes banding the base, a single emerald green stone at the top, and ruby red accents at the sides.
Keyes made quality Canadian costume jewelry for nearly four decades, and the craftsmanship shows — the setting is clean, the rhodium-bright silver tone still sharp, the stones all present and secure.
Crown brooches from this era turn up occasionally. Ones with this level of stone variety and a documented maker are harder to find.
SIZE 1½" wide × 1¾" tall
CONDITION Gently used. All stones intact. No missing rhinestones noted.
This brooch comes from a single collection — one person, forty years of hunting, an eye for the good ones. More crowns from the same collection are available in our shop.
Vintage means history. Please look closely at the photos and reach out with any questions before purchasing. We want you to love your crown.
