Vintage Bennington flag - 1976 Bicentennial sewn fabric flag

$75.00

Vintage replica of the Bennington '76 flag, associated with the 1777 Battle of Bennington in the American Revolutionary War. It is distinguished by the 76 and thirteen 7-point stars in the canton, and the fact that there are 7 white and 6 red stripes (current versions of the Flag have 6 white and 7 red).

This was most likely made and flown in celebration of the American Bicentennial in 1976. Perfect to celebrate the 250th in 2026. It would make awesome indoor wall decor because of the authentic aging from use.

Feels like cotton or a cotton blend. Canton is printed. Stripes and canton are sewn together. Grommets at top and bottom.

SIZE 33" x 61"

CONDITION Flag has been flown. Some discoloration, especially in the white, giving it an authentic vintage look. Stitching is sturdy, no holes or fraying.

This is a pre-owned item. Every attempt is made to describe it accurately. Please examine photos carefully, and feel free to ask questions. We want you to love your flag.
