Vintage collapsible basket is made of metal mesh with a ring in the middle and one at the top. Sturdy metal handles. We've seen it described as a fish, egg, gardening, or steamer basket. Collect shells or clams. We also think it could make a conversation-piece of a purse, as long as privacy isn't an issue. Shabby charm.
SIZE outer rim is 10"D. About 8" deep to top rim when fully expanded plus approx 4' for handles.
CONDITION Sturdy and shabby. Faintly rusty inside.
