Vintage Mirro Aluminum Sauce Pan with Wear-Ever Strainer Insert - Mid Century Steamer Set - Farmhouse Kitchen - 1 Qt Pan

$26.00

Vintage aluminum sauce pan and strainer insert pairing, perfect for farmhouse kitchen decor or functional vintage-style steaming and blanching. These two pieces are from different manufacturers (Mirro and Wear-Ever) and were not originally sold as a factory matched set. However, the strainer fits inside the pan and the two function well together as a steaming/straining pairing — we're offering them as a practical set based on fit, not as an original manufacturer pairing.

Set includes

  • Mirro 1 qt sauce pan, marked "The Finest Aluminum 931M 1 QT" on the base, with cup markings stamped onto the side. Made in the 1940s-1950s.
  • Wear-Ever strainer insert, marked "No. 931" on the base; also bears the  "T.A.C.U. Co" (The Aluminum Cooking Utensil Company) and stars trademark. Made in the 1920s-1930s

CONDITION. Both pieces are well-used vintage items and show honest wear consistent with age. The pan and strainer have some pitting on the exterior surfaces, typical of vintage aluminum cookware. The interior of the strainer shows water/mineral staining consistent with age and use. No major dents. Structurally sound and functional.

This is a vintage item. It has been used and loved and it has a history. Please examine photos carefully and ask questions. We want you to love your pan set.
