Mid-century school health poster, National Tuberculosis Association, Good Food Helps You Grow

$35.00

Original 1956 public health campaign poster features the message: “Good Food Helps You Grow.” Distributed by the National Tuberculosis Association, it was part of a nationwide effort to promote healthy eating for children — a message that resonates as much today as it did in the 1950s.

Printed on the poster is the note: “This poster is distributed by your tuberculosis association in the interest of better health for all children. It is made possible by your purchase of Christmas Seals.” Better health for all children is a message I think we can all get behind.

SIZE 11" x 17"

CONDITION Fair vintage condition. Shows some age-related wear including edge tears, pin holes, and a tear on the girl’s shirt sleeve (does not go through the poster, likely from tape removal). Poster has been stored rolled for decades.

This is a vintage item. Previously loved and gently aged. Please review photos carefully to ensure it meets your expectations. We want you to love your find.
