Jill Gill silkscreen - "la premiere" - 3/4 - 1960s vintage art

Vintage block print by well known New York artist Jill Gill. "la premiere", numbered 3/4 and undated, however it was purchased in the late 1960s. Black ink (that appears a black green at the right angle) on a natural cream white background.

Fresh produce and a geranium plant, captures the essence of the first picks of the spring.

Art is matted in cream and mounted on cardboard.

Never displayed or framed, colors are bright and true. 

Artist Jill Gill is best known for her interior and exterior illustrations of rooms and buildings, with clientele including Michael Bloomberg, Anna Quindlen and Kurt Vonnegut. Her editorial illustrations have appeared in the New York Times, New York Magazine, Wine Spectator and GQ. 

SIZE Art measures 8" x 12.75", mat measures 12 3/8" x 17"

CONDITION Very good. The art itself is lovely. The mat has some tanning and the bottom left corner has a crimp.
