Framed hand embroidered cottage scenes - a pair - vintage 1930s framed stitchery
Vintage 1930s pair of framed embroideries originally stitched from kits. One of a cottage scene with a Victorian couple stitched on beige linen tinted with green, blue, red, brown and yellow. The other is of trees, flowers and a gate with a cottage in the background stitched on pale blue linen tinted with green, gold and brown. In matching gold painted metal frames with beige matting.

CONDITION Good condition with some light staining. Mats have some warping and some tears in the corners, probably done when the mats were hand cut. The paint on the frames is chippy and cracky in a few places. Staining and some tears in the cardboard backing.
