One Hundred and One Famous Poems with a Prose Supplement - 1929 poetry anthology

Regular price $25.00

"One Hundred and One Famous Poems with a Prose Supplement" compiled by Roy J. Cook. Revised edition, 1929. Published by the Book Division of The Cable Company, Chicago. Softcover.

Enduringly popular collection of poems, the most recent printing being 2003. This early 20th century copy accompanies each poem with an oval illustration of the author as well as their birth and death dates.

The Cable Company of Chicago appears to be the Cable Piano Company. It's interesting that they had a "Book Division" and expanded into literature as well as music.
