European wooden beaded basket - 1960s vintage

Vintage 1960s basket made of beads on wires with a wooden base. Beads are espresso brown and natural colors with a light sprayed finish. Base is unfinished wood. Two small handles. Marked "Strecken" on the base. Likely made in Europe. Wood has a nice color from age. We're thinking 1960s, but it may be earlier.
SIZE 10" diameter, sides are 2.75" and handles are 4"
CONDITION Very good. Sturdy and ready for use. The base may have been stained dark and lightened with cleaning. The ends of the wires underneath are rusted.
