Finding one EAPG cake stand in a specific pattern is a good day. Finding a matched pair? That's the kind of thing that makes collectors stop scrolling.
These two pressed glass pedestal stands are identical in pattern and form, with a dense interlocking floral lattice across the plate surface that reads as either an all-over web or a repeating four-petal flower depending on the light. Both feature a hollow fluted column pedestal and a domed foot typical of late Victorian pressed glass production, placing these solidly in the 1890s–1910s EAPG era.
Maker unconfirmed, but the quality of the pressing and the form are consistent with the major American glasshouses of that period.
As a pair they're versatile. Try tiered serving for afternoon tea. Or as part of a collected vignette. Or as props for food photography or styling.
Manufacturing character includes straw marks, bubbles, inclusions, and waves in the glass, evidence of hand-fed pressing molds. Not damage. History.
