1970s Pre-Columbian Tolima Culture Brass Pectoral Figure Replica, Abstract Anthropomorphic Shaman Wall Decor

$42.00
Vintage 1970s Pre-Columbian style metal pectoral figure replica of gold chest ornaments made by the ancient Tolima culture (1 BC – 700 AD) of modern-day Colombia.
Known for their stylized, geometric art style, Tolima metalwork often depicts powerful shamans in mid-transformation. This anthropozoomorphic (we are very proud of that word) figure depicts that duality, blending a human face and crescent headdress with abstract animal features reminiscent of bird wings and a jaguar's tail.
Lightweight metal, probably brass, with a brilliant polished sheen, replica is at home in 70s style, bohemian, or eclectic interiors. Hang it on your wall or position it on a shelf.
