Vintage 1997 Christie's Princess Diana Gown Dress Auction Catalog Book w/ bonus

The softcover auction catalog from the historic 1997 charity auction “Dresses from the Collection of Diana, Princess of Wales.” The sale was conducted by Christie's in June, 1997 and featured many of Diana’s iconic gowns. The catalog includes full-color photographs of the dresses, along with images of Diana wearing several of them at notable events. Also included is the original Christie’s letter listing the final bid prices for each dress lot.

This lot also includes two bonus commemorative stamp sets issued by the Togolese Republic shortly after Diana’s death in 1997.

Each stamp set contains:
• 1 sheet of Princess Diana Royal Gowns Plate Block stamps
• 1 White Chiffon Evening Dress commemorative stamp sheet
• Protective sleeves
• Certificates of Authenticity
• Original mailing envelopes, and originally included ephemera

CONDITION: Book is very good - cover has been opened, some scuffs on edges, but pages are clean. Both stamp sets are in original envelopes with all information. Some soiling on envelopes.
