Ornate floral sterling silver tea ball infuser sold by jeweler F. B. Toppan of Boston, MA in the late 1800s. (F. B. Toppan was located at the rear of 144 Tremont Street, for you Bostonians.) Top opens and snaps shut, little holes are scattered throughout body and lid. Bottom marked F.B.Toppan Sterling 187 with a small cross below.
SIZE 1 1/2" dia with 5 1/2" drop chain.
CONDITION No dents or dings. Patina. Gently polished. Please look closely at all pictures.
