Sugar sack dish towels - set of 4 - 1940s vintage
Set of 4 home sewn dish towels made from sugar sacks back in the 1940s. Some have faint images of the original printed sugar label. These were found in the linen drawer of the triple decker in Worcester, MA where they were sewn and used. Exactly as found. Three do not seem to have been used much, one was.
SIZE may vary, about 31" x 18"
CONDITION Very good. The gold and gray/blue stripes have faded from laundering on one of them. A couple have visible mends. Exactly as found, expect stains and wear. It's possible the stains would soak out, but we make no promises.
This is a vintage item. It has been used and loved and it has a history. Please examine photos carefully and ask questions, as we are unable to accept returns or exchanges.
