Decorative floral wall plates - Johnson Bros., Copeland Spode, Ridgeways English china - 1900s
Collection of three vintage floral china plates for plate wall decor. All have scalloped edges and pretty floral medallion centers.
Included are (from smallest to largest)
- Rutland Gray by Ridgeways, transferware plate with roses and spring flowers in the center from the 1940s, light crazing that you can only see at the right angle, 8" diameter
- Copeland Spode Buttercup with the older backstamp, transferware with brown details and yellow and blue accents, probably from the 1920s - 1940s, crazed overall, 9" diameter
- Johnson Brothers Sheraton large scale floral with charcoal brown outlines and hand painted color details, probably from the 1950s or 1960s, 10" diameter
All are best used for decorative use. The Johnson Brothers plate would be fine for table use, but it's awfully pretty. All are in very good condition.
