French Art Nouveau urn candleholders - 1920s vintage
Pair of urn style candlesticks with an embossed Art Nouveau floral pattern of lilies. Curling leaf handles. Petaled top to hold a pillar candle approximately 1.25" wide. Pot metal with copper, black and verdigris finish. Likely made in France in the 1920s.
Originally part of a garniture set, they would have been flanking a clock on a mantel or sideboard.
SIZE 10 1/8" tall
CONDITION Very good. These have a nice authentic patina of age. Some places the metallic wash has worn away and you can see the base metal underneath.
