Antique Jackfield Style Black Cow Creamer - Victorian Pottery Cream Jug - Glossy Black and Gold Cow Figure - Late 1800s
Couldn't load pickup availability
Glossy black cow creamer in the Jackfield pottery tradition, circa late 1800s. The Victorians loved their dairy novelties.
She's got the classic silhouette: curled tail as a handle, gilt-touched ears and hooves, and a permanently open mouth that's all "moo." Cream is poured in through the hole in her back and exits through her moo-th. The stopper is missing, but it doesn't detract from the appearance. And frankly, if you were as old that this cow, your stopper would be missing too. Unsigned, no marks on base.
