1979 tea towel with a happy sundial and dancing Bavarian couple by Kolf of Austria. Stitched sleeve at top for a hanging dowel. Likely never used, the towel is crisp with sizing like the day it was made.
German quote at the bottom:
Mach' es wie die Sonnenuhr zahl die heiteren stunden nur
translates as:
Do it like the sundial, only number the merry hours

MATERIAL 100% cotton
CONDITION Very good. There is a faint brown stain on the "nn" in Sonnenuhle, perhaps where a sticker was originally adhered.
