Sesquicentennial Liberty Bell auto hood ornament - 1920s antique

Antique Sesquicentennial Liberty Bell auto hood ornament from the 1920s. Brass bell plated with nickel, most likely. Marked on both sides, the patent dates have worn off. 

We know it came from the 1920s because it came from a lifelong bell collector who labeled it as having been on "the boy's old Metz car" from Waltham, MA.

SIZE 5.25" tall, 4.75" diameter

CONDITION Good condition. The plating has worn off in places. Inside the bell, there is a partial piece of the apparatus that would have held it on the car.
