Metal file box for shelf storage - angled flip top - vintage 1950s

Vintage metal file box designed for shelf storage. End has tabs for adding a label and a hole for using your finger to pull it out. Width-length hinge for top that flips down, allowing standing access to files for works in progress.

Deep dark black green with a bit of rust, some chips, a small dent on the front and other signs of use in a real live office.

CONDITION Very good. Hinge is great, box is sturdy, patina is absolutely authentic.
