Mystery at the Food Power Tower - National Live Stock and Meat Board - 1971 booklet
"Mystery at the Food Power Tower," a 1971 children's booklet from the National Live Stock and Meat Board.
We're not going to do a deep literary critique of this time capsule, we're sure it's mostly nutrition information, but based on the first few pages, we know this much. Two kids pass by a vacant lot every day, and one day the Food Power Tower appeared in that lot. And at the door was a clown holding a knife and fork. Their teacher took them on a trip to the Food Power Tower and the sign on the door said "Children only. No adults allowed," and that clown was not letting the adults in no way, no how. He assured them the children would give them a report. Sounds fine.
