Folk art oak wall pocket - handmade vintage craftsmen decorator piece
Handmade folk art oak wall pocket with rustic craftsman style. Tapered wall pocket at the bottom with carved scene of a well and well sweep. Scalloped edging. Plate rail around the top for added display space. Date is unsure, but we would think it was made in the first half of the 1900s for sure.
Wire for hanging, however it also has holes for a more secure attachment.
Useful by the door for catching mail, keys, gloves and whatever. Large pocket can also be used in the dining room for table linens or cutlery.

CONDITION Vintage very good. There are some water spots on one side, some gapping in the joints and general aging. Very sturdy.
