EPNS Clam shell butter or jam dishes - Hollander Plato - a pair - 1960s 70s vintage

These silverplate EPNS scallop shell shaped covered dishes with glass shell-shaped liners are from the PLATO line of tableware from David Hollander & Sons, of Birmingham, England. We think they are 1960s or 1970s vintage. Tiny notches for a spoon. Use for serving condiments or sauces or keep on your vanity for special treasures.

SIZE closed - 5" diam x 2"H; open 9.5" L x 1"H

CONDITION. Patina. Used. There are some areas where the plate is starting to fade and marks on the frosted glass liners from the silver plate. One does not close completely.
