Vintage decorative display plate with a scene of The Parthenon in Athens, Greece, done in raised relief. Made from creamy white porcelain and hand painted. Based on where it was made and the colors, we think this is from the 1960s-1070s.
The plate has a metal wire inserted through two hanging holes on the back. Back stamp is in Greek and is not a clear stamp, but we think it says: Kerameftika Eidi, Y. & A. Rodiadis, Avenue of Agios Ioannis Rentis, Athinai. Made in Athens.
SIZE 8.25" diameter
CONDITION Good vintage condition. Gently used for display. There are a couple of glazing flaws on front and back. 2 chips on bottom rim. Some paint overrun on the reverse that does not affect the front display.
