What, oh what is ice milk? The quart is the standout piece — ice milk container featuring Peter Pan character art with a speech bubble reading "Think Slim," a perfect artifact of late 1960s–1970s diet culture marketing. Lid edge marked: Peter Pan Ice Cream, Woonsocket RI 02895 #38-92. Manufacturer marked on quart base: Amory Chemical & Plastics, Clinton MA.

The pint is a vanilla ice cream container featuring Peter Pan character art. Same dairy marking on lid. but no manufacturer mark on bottom. A natural companion piece to the quart, same brand, same era, same New England regional provenance.

Between the 5-digit zip code and the "Think Slim" diet messaging and ice milk labeling, we think this ice milk was eaten in the late 1960s–1970s. We can't be quite as sure with the ice cream, but lack of UPC or nutrition facts points to the 70s.
