Rectangular decorative plate wall plate with "The Surgeon," an antique figure with black outlines and hand painted details. Amusingly drawn, the surgeon has tools in every pocket, nook and cranny, none of which you would ever want touching your personal self, with or without anesthesia. Gold trim and wire on back for hanging. Made in Italy for Rosenfeld Imports, NY.

CONDITION Very good. No chips or crazing, however there is wear to the gold.
