Tortoiseshell Acrylic Link Chain Belt - Amber Oval Links, Brass Connectors - 1970s–80s Vintage

Statement chain belt of sixteen chunky tortoiseshell-pattern acrylic links, marbled warm amber and cognac tones, joined by brass oval connectors. Oversized link style was a fixture of 1970s–80s accessories, when tortoiseshell acrylic and chunky chain belts were everywhere. It has the scale to be at home cinching a knit dress, cinched around a blazer, or slung low on wide-leg trousers.

Closure is a simple hook-and-eye clasp with a 13-link extender chain, so it adjusts easily to fit.

• 16 oval acrylic links, each 1 7/8" long x 5/8" wide
• Tortoiseshell/amber pattern, brass-tone oval connectors between links
• Hook clasp with 13-link brass-tone extender chain
• Adjustable: 35" (hook to first link) up to 41" (hook to last link)
• Lightweight acrylic links, not glass or resin

CONDITION Good vintage condition. No cracks or chips in any of the acrylic links. A few of the brass connector ovals have small gaps at the seam (visible in photos) that's purely cosmetic, doesn't affect wear. Metal also has patina/aging.
