U.S. Trunk Company blue train case - vintage suitcase

Vintage U.S. Trunk Company dusky blue train case with tan corded stitching and mauve colored quilted lining made of Celanese acetate. Hard sided case with carry handle, rounded edges and gold tone metal hardware.

Inside there is a plastic threaded strap along the back to secure small item and keep bottles upright. A rectangular 8"x6" mirror held in place with 4 elasticized straps.

Two locking closures, but unfortunately no key. Four metal button feet on the bottom to protect the case. And a bonus travel mending kit.

SIZE 14" x 9.5" x 8.25" not including handle on the height

CONDITION Good. This case is well used and well loved, and you could add to the destinations it has seen. It has scuffs and stains and scratches, but is structurally sound. The stitching is all intact. The lining has stains and scrapes and smells of scented body powder and adventure. The closures work well. The mirror has loss of silvering and a few small nicks on the edges.
