Victorian wicker flower basket - long handle - flared rim

Vintage wicker basket with a round base and flared rim. Long looped handle. Wooden base. Dark stained rattan that was lightly brushed with gold sometime in it's history. The gold reads as a lighter brown, but has a slight sheen.

Fits in well with Victorian and cottage displays. Ivy or other climbing vines can be trained around the handle to create a topiary.

SIZE 23" tall including handle. Basket is 10" tall. Basket would fit a 3.5" pot, possibly a 4" pot if not set all the way into the base.

CONDITION Very good. There are no flaws noted. Lovely patina of age.
