Vintage 1950 All By Herself Plakie Toys Cloth Fabric Learning Book By Kay Clark

1950s Vintage children's book "ALL BY HERSELF, " a cloth learning book by designed by Kay Clark and manufactured by Plakie Toys in Youngstown, Ohio. The book was created to help young children learn self-care and dressing skills, with interactive fabric elements built into the pages, including a working button, zipper, and snap. This copy carries the original patent numbers 2527242 and 2501902.

"All By Herself" was published alongside a companion title, "All By Himself," for boys.

Please note: this copy is missing the shoelace, handkerchief, and hair bow that were originally included with the book. The button, zipper, and snap elements are all present and functional.

CONDITION Overall very good condition. Fabric is sturdy throughout with no fraying at the edges. Mild yellowing is present at the page edges, consistent with age. 3 accessory items missing as noted above.
