Vintage 1960s fireplace bellows – colonial / federal style hearth blower – red wood with eagle
Keep the home fires burning with this vintage fireplace bellows likely dating to the 1960s when Colonial and Federal décor were in full revival mode. It is both a functional hearth tool and a striking decorative accent for a traditional fireplace. Red painted wood with plastic eagle on the front. The body appears to combine leather and vinyl, with faux brass studs and a faux brass metal nozzle. Leather hanging loop makes it easy to display beside the hearth.
SIZE 17" x 7" x 1.5" when folded
CONDITION Very good vintage condition. Most of the leather/vinyl is excellent, with a few minor marks to the red painted wood. We suspect it may have been primarily decorative, though the air nozzle does show some scratches and signs of use.
This is a vintage item. It has a history. Please look at the pictures and ask questions. We want you to love your bellows.
