American Ceramic Society 63rd meeting souvenir glass - gold rim - 1961 vintage
Commemorative souvenir glass issued for the 63rd Annual Meeting of The American Ceramic Society, held at the Royal York Hotel, Toronto, Ontario, Canada from April 23–27, 1961.
This glass was decorated using colored inks formulated with Drakotherm pigments by Drakenfeld, an appealing detail for ceramics, glass, and industrial history collectors.
The clear glass is decorated in red and white, with gilded detailing around the rim. Small outlined historic bottles wraps around the glass on both the top and bottom. The top are printed in red on a white triangular banner ribbon, and the bottom are etched into a red ribbon providing symmetry.
SIZE 4 3/4" tall, 2 5/8" rim diameter
CONDITION Very good vintage condition. Some wear on the gilding around the rim. No nicks, chips or cracks.
